Scheduling

Teams agree their own match times with their opponent. The league sets deadlines and fallbacks, not the times themselves.

Fixtures must be agreed by 20:00 on the Friday before the week they are played. Once a time is agreed, reschedule the match on FACEIT — the hub calendar picks the new time up automatically shortly afterwards.

Friday rather than Sunday because the first default slot is Monday evening. A Sunday deadline would leave a defaulted fixture just 24 hours’ notice; Friday gives three days, and six for the Thursday slot.

Agreeing early is not just admin tidiness. It’s what lets casters pick up matches for broadcast and lets people find games worth watching.

  1. Find your opponent on the FACEIT tournament page or on the hub.
  2. Contact the opposing captain on Discord.
  3. Propose two or three possible times. Be flexible — everyone here is fitting this around a job.
  4. Reschedule the match on FACEIT once you have agreement.

If you get no reply within 48 hours, open a ticket rather than waiting.

The fixture is played at the default time.

Stage Monday 20:00 Thursday 20:00
Group stage (weeks 1–3) Fixture 1 Fixture 2
Weeks 4–8 Relegation Group Championship Playoffs
Week 9 Grand Final

Monday and Thursday split the week into three- and four-day gaps, and a competition week runs Monday to Sunday. Splitting the two competitions across the two nights keeps matches running twice a week for the whole season rather than dropping to one.

The Relegation Group is five rounds, so it finishes in week 8 and leaves week 9 to the Grand Final alone. That frees the Monday slot, which is why the season ends on a Monday.

Monday and Thursday also avoid the established default nights elsewhere in Finnish amateur CS — Pappaliiga plays Sunday, Kanaliiga Wednesday — so players running a team in more than one league are not forced to choose.

If you cannot reach the opposing captain despite repeated attempts, open a ticket before the deadline and attach evidence of your attempts — screenshots of your messages are enough.

If they still cannot be reached before the match, the match is awarded against them. Communicating with opponents and organisers is a basic part of running a team, and failing at it is treated as unsportsmanlike conduct rather than an accident.

Default nights and deadlines are league-wide and stable. The dates a season actually runs, and the fixture list for your division, are announced in Discord and on the Fullstack League site rather than here.

Where a deadline would land on a public holiday, expect it to be moved or enforced loosely — that will be said in the announcement.
