Discord guide
Discord is where the community actually lives — season updates, matchmaking chatter, and direct access to the organisers. If you’re undecided about registering, it’s the low-commitment way to see what’s happening first.
The server opens up in phases. Channels appear when the thing they’re for becomes real, rather than sitting empty for months, so the list below is deliberately explicit about what does and doesn’t exist yet.
Open now
Section titled “Open now”#general— everything that doesn’t have a better home.#introductions— who you are and what you’re looking for.#polls— organisers asking the community to decide things.#suomi— Finnish-language channel. English is the primary operating language of the league, with Finnish support in the community where needed.#contact-organizers— a forum channel, open from day one. Use this for anything you’d otherwise email about.
Opens with registration
Section titled “Opens with registration”#registration-help— problems registering on the hub.#looking-for-teamand#looking-for-players— forum channels for roster building, with self-assignable LFT and LFP roles.
Opens with the season
Section titled “Opens with the season”#rulebook-questions— gated on the rulebook being finished.#season-updates,#match-resultsand#bug-reports— the Season 1 category.
Roles split into two kinds, and it’s worth knowing which is which:
- Capability roles (Founder, Staff) control what someone can actually do.
- Identity badges are cosmetic and carry no permissions.
There is deliberately no Team Captain role yet. It needs to be reconciled against real roster data from the hub, which doesn’t exist until registration runs; handing it out early would mean unpicking it later. Kanaliiga Alumni serves as the interim stand-in.
There are also no per-division channels by default. If division-level chatter turns out to be needed, it gets added then rather than pre-built.
Getting a dispute heard
Section titled “Getting a dispute heard”There’s no dedicated dispute channel yet — it’s deferred until Season 1
produces enough volume to justify one. Until then, #contact-organizers is the
route. See Disputes and appeals.
