Eligibility
Who can play
Section titled “Who can play”Anyone. There are no company, school or age restrictions, and no nationality requirement on individual players.
What determines Season 1 eligibility is that the team registers as Finland-based. A Finland-based roster can include players of any nationality.
A player may be registered to one team only.
Anti-cheat bans
Section titled “Anti-cheat bans”A player is not eligible if any of the following applies to any of their accounts:
- A CS:GO or CS2 VAC ban less than two years old.
- A FACEIT or ESEA ban for cheating, regardless of age.
Every player must have a FACEIT account with FACEIT Anti-Cheat installed and tested before the season starts. Testing it in advance is the player’s responsibility — an anti-cheat problem discovered at match time still counts as being late.
Account requirements
Section titled “Account requirements”Division placement depends on honest account data, so these are enforced strictly rather than treated as paperwork.
- The Steam account you register must be your main account, meaning the one with the highest matchmaking rank you have held. Alternative or smurf accounts are not permitted.
- Steam game hours must be public during registration so the data can be read into the hub.
- If your current rank doesn’t reflect your main account’s peak rank or your actual skill level, say so when you register by opening a ticket rather than leaving it to be discovered.
- Admins may require a profile to be made public mid-season. You have 24 hours from the request.
Misrepresenting accounts is penalised, and the penalty can fall on the whole team rather than the individual. See Penalties.
Why this is strict
Section titled “Why this is strict”Placement is calculated from rating data, and the whole promise of the league is that your division is close to your actual level. A smurf account doesn’t just break a rule, it produces a season of one-sided matches for thirteen other teams. That is also why every registered player counts toward placement, including ones who never play — see Rosters.
