Forfeits and no-shows
Being late
Section titled “Being late”The clock starts at the agreed start time, which is when the bans begin.
If a match is delayed more than 20 minutes past that point, the team that is ready may open a ticket and request either:
- a walkover, or
- a force start at 5v4.
Admins approve the action; the ready team doesn’t get to simply declare it.
This is why testing your setup in advance is a rule rather than advice. An opponent’s evening shouldn’t be spent waiting on one player’s anti-cheat install — see Eligibility.
Playing short
Section titled “Playing short”A team needs five players on the server for a map to start. A map must be finished by the five who started it; see Rosters.
The 5v4 force start above is the exception, and only with admin approval.
Unable to play at all
Section titled “Unable to play at all”If a team cannot play its fixtures within the schedule, the opponent is awarded the walkover. Report it — an unreported forfeit is worse than a forfeit.
Repeatedly failing to appear is unsportsmanlike conduct and is dealt with under Penalties, up to removal from the season. A team removed as a penalty does not get its entry fee back.
