Registration and payment
The short version: you register for free, and no payment is collected until the league is confirmed. The financial risk of the league not happening sits with the organisers, not with teams.
Who can register
Section titled “Who can register”Anyone. There are no company, school or age restrictions — if you can put together a roster and a FACEIT team, you can register.
There is no nationality requirement for players. What determines Season 1 eligibility is that the team registers as Finland-based; a Finland-based roster can include players of any nationality.
Season 1 is Finland-only, because that’s where the existing 18 seasons of history and community trust are. International expansion — starting with Sweden, tentatively around Season 2 or 3 — depends on how Season 1 actually goes.

A squad is 5 to 9 players and there is no separate substitute list, so every name you register is a name you pay for — and one that counts toward your division placement. Registering a much stronger player who never plays costs money and gives you a harder season. See Rosters.
The order things happen in
Section titled “The order things happen in”- Registration opens — interest only, no payment.
- The 56-team floor. Four full divisions of 14 is the hard minimum; 70 teams (five divisions) is the target. Launch doesn’t require the target.
- Go/no-go decision, ahead of the season. Other signals feed into it — active Discord community, willingness-to-pay indicators, rulebook readiness — but the 56-team floor is the one hard gate.
- If confirmed, payment collection opens. Not before.

Joining mid-season
Section titled “Joining mid-season”Not possible. Registration happens ahead of each season and divisions are set once a season starts. You can register at any time for the next upcoming season.
Where registration lives
Section titled “Where registration lives”On hub.kanaliiga.fi, along with fixtures, rosters, standings, results and payments. The hub already runs live leagues today, so you can go and look at what fixtures and standings actually look like before committing to anything.
The Kanaliiga relationship
Section titled “The Kanaliiga relationship”Fullstack League is independent. It is not run by, affiliated with, or owned by Kanaliiga. Some of the people building it have experience helping run Kanaliiga, and the league uses Kanaliiga’s Hub platform for registration, fixtures, standings and payments — but beyond that shared tooling the two are separate organisations with different rosters and different seasons.
Getting this wrong in public copy is a known accuracy risk, so it’s worth stating precisely.
