Penalties
Admins decide penalties case by case and reserve the right to do so. This page describes what is on the table and what is already fixed, not a rigid tariff.
Fixed consequences
Section titled “Fixed consequences”A few outcomes are already settled elsewhere in the rulebook:
| Breach | Consequence |
|---|---|
| Refusing to remove an agent skin, after procedure followed | Map awarded to the opponent |
| Three agent skin warnings | Player banned for the rest of the season |
| Unreachable before a fixture, despite documented attempts | Match awarded against you |
| Delayed more than 20 minutes | Opponent may claim a walkover or force a 5v4 start |
| Removed from the season as a penalty | No refund of the entry fee |
Otherwise available
Section titled “Otherwise available”Warning, map or round forfeit, point deduction, removal from the season, and exclusion from future seasons.
Things that attract heavier penalties
Section titled “Things that attract heavier penalties”Account misrepresentation. Registering a smurf, hiding a main account, or misstating rank. This can be penalised at team level, not just against the individual, because it distorts the whole division’s placement.
Deliberate underperformance. Throwing matches to secure an easier division next season. Because placement is recalculated each season partly from your own league results, the incentive genuinely exists. The rating formula is not published, which limits how precisely it could be gamed, but it is named here so nobody can claim it wasn’t.
Refunds
Section titled “Refunds”Removal as a penalty means no refund.
This is separate from the placement transparency refund, which is offered before a season starts to teams the placement review believes will struggle regardless of division. That one is a full refund, freely chosen, and nothing to do with discipline.
