Match rules

All matches are played on FACEIT, under the settings inherited from the SEUL base ruleset: MR12, overtime money 12 500, four 30-second tactical timeouts, veto in the FACEIT match room.

Stage Fixture format Cadence
Group stage Bo2 2 fixtures per week, 3 weeks
Championship Playoffs Bo3, double elimination 1 per week, 6 weeks
Relegation Group Bo3, single round robin 1 per week, 5 weeks

A group stage Bo2 is scored as two separate Bo1 results, which is how FACEIT handles it. A fixture can therefore end 1–1, and both maps count individually toward the table. Official standings live on the hub, not on FACEIT — see Standings.

Playoff Bo3 maps cannot be split across several days. The whole fixture is played in one sitting.

Ban, ban, ban, ban, pick, pick, ban. Each team picks one map.

Sides are decided by gentleman’s knife round: the team that picked the map concedes the knife round, so their opponent chooses sides.

The away team bans first. On FACEIT, Team 1 is away and Team 2 is home.

  1. Both captains ban one map each, away first.
  2. Away picks map 1; home chooses starting sides.
  3. Home picks map 2; away chooses starting sides.
  4. Both captains ban one map each again, away first.
  5. The remaining map is the decider. Sides are settled by knife round.
  • !pause — technical pause, no time limit. For genuine technical faults.
  • In-game timeout — tactical, 30 seconds, four per team.

Agent skins are banned.

Before the match: change the skin, reconnect to the server, then start.

During the match: the team that notices pauses and immediately opens a ticket. The offending team receives a warning. If admins judge it an honest mistake, play continues once the skin is removed. Three warnings and the player is banned for the remainder of the season.

If a player will not change the skin and the procedure above was followed, the map is awarded to the opponent by default.

After the match: every player is responsible for calling out agent skin use in match chat. If it only comes to light after the match has been played, the original result stands. The same applies if both teams used them.
